Men’s Ministry

The purpose of men’s ministry is to transform and equip men to faithfully serve God, family, and others. Important roles include leading, providing, and serving with integrity by living out biblical standards.  This is accomplished through study, fellowship, accountability, and service to others.

Women’s Ministry

This ministry is founded on Proverbs 31and Titus 2:3-5 which serves as an example of what a Godly woman is.  It is important that women learn to love and serve Christ and then show His love through example to others.  We provide opportunities for women to learn from other women through Bible study, prayer, friendship, and special events.

Youth Ministry

We provide youth opportunities to experience Christ in a personal way.  The goal is to strategically produce Christ-like attitudes, behaviors, and youth that are dedicated to Christ-like service.

Children’s Ministry

LBC Children’s ministry exists to teach children about Jesus and His Word, grow them as believers and reach their families for the kingdom. We provide programs on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for children of all ages and special events during the year.

Cooperating together to experience God's best is one of the great privileges of faith in Jesus Christ - not to mention it is what the Bible clearly teaches we should do. As a result, over the years, LBC has enjoyed mission partnerships with other churches. It is no different today.

Mission Partnerships

In 2011 LBC partnered with Choice Baptist Church, located in Wabigalo (a slum in Kampala), to strengthen the church locally and assist in their strategy of starting new churches. The partnership continues to develop through sending teams, giving to, and praying for, the work there.

For some time, LBC has been blessed by its partnership with Highland Colony Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. HCBC continues to come alongside LBC ministries with support, inspiration and hard work!

Having people you can trust to provide responsible and caring leadership may be more important today than it has ever been.
