What Is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward sign of the reality of a person placing their faith in Jesus Christ. It is symbolic of the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ. Baptism is a public proclamation of one's faith in Christ. Baptism by itself does not save anyone but rather is a symbol of a life and relationship with God that has been restored through faith in Jesus.
Why Shoud I Be Baptized?
If someone has made a genuine profession of faith, then he or she ought to be baptized (Matthew 28:18-19). We encourage you to follow Christ's command to be baptized as a public profession of your faith in Him. We would love to walk with you through considering this opportunity to announce the change that has taken place in your life. If you haven’t trusted Jesus, we'd still love to hear from you, answer any questions you may have, and help you learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
